Lindsey Gaghan MD, PGY2, Brown Dermatology
I joined "Skin Cancer Champions" because of my personal experience working with and supporting patients with multiple nonmelanoma skin cancers, which made me realize the lack of accessible and comprehensive information available. As someone passionate about healthcare advocacy and an aspiring dermatopathologist, I saw this as an opportunity to help both patients, caregivers, and other providers better understand and digest their pathology reports and ultimately better navigate their care. By contributing to this online community, I hope to raise awareness, foster support networks, and ultimately improve outcomes for individuals affected by skin cancer.
